Happy Birthday Emily!!

Emily had a party at our house yesterday. The girls decorated their treat bags before making bracelets.

We love Emily a.k.a the little princess or little missy! Emily is a little ray of sunshine in our lives. With a few exceptions, she's ALWAYS cheery. (Remember, this is the girl who didn't cry when she broke her arm!) Her smile and bright eyes can't help but make me happy!

Emily is probably wise beyond her years. Like her teachers say, she's always thinking outside of the box. Or beyond what the rest of the kids think...Yet, she still loves gathering up all of her Webkinz collection and playing with them. In fact, she has so many that she has to put them all in her laundry basket when she takes them to the neighbor's. I always chuckle wondering what the rest of the neighbors think of her hauling her laundry around!!

Her little body is full of spunk. BTW, dont' call her little. She doesn't like that! Someday, Emily, you won't mind being called little!! She's usually the smallest in the room with the biggest imagination...and sometimes the loudest voice. I can usually here her even if I can't see her--always been that way!

Our family is glad she's been part of our family for 9 years. It's truly exciting, no matter how gut-wrenching, to see children grow up from babies to toddlers, to school-age kids and beyond.
