Emily and her teacher, Mrs. KnightYesterday, Emily had her third grade "Celebration of Learning" in her classroom. This is the end-of-year activity where the teachers love on the kids and the parents and kids beam with pride.
Each child read a poem that he/she wrote. Then the teacher gave each child a special "award"

Emily, you have many talents! When I think of you, I think of your awesome imagination. Your original ideas and 'out of the box' solutions inspired us all to think deeper and look for different answers. You always see a different side of the coin. Thanks for keeping us on our feet! Oh how sweet! She sounds like she was a great teacher for Emily!!
I hope the piano recital went well, my kids have a recital next week - they need to get practicing more!!
