One More Week!

There are 2 1/2 days of school left. That means we're all pretty much off schedule, off track and a little crazy. It also means end-of-year awards. Kyle got another Grizzly Bear Award. I don't honestly understand the criteria. Something about showing bear qualities: big and loud-mouthed maybe? Fuzzy head? Check.

The school sends this postcard telling you to show up, but they don't explain what your kid earned. Then the kids fly across the stage in about 0.5 seconds flat. Not enough time to get a good picture.

I actually chuckled out loud a bit because Kyle's reading/English teacher nominated him for the award. He hated her class. According to Kyle, however, he was the only choice because the rest of the kids in his class were kind of , well, naughty. Gotta love it!

Next year BOTH kids will be in Junior High! But the new school is very small compared to here. Only 800 kids. Here's hopin' for good times ahead.
